Bonche - Singapore Sling

A classic gin-based cocktail with a harmony of pineapple, cherry and citrus notes. It is believed that the history of Singapore Sling begins in the first half of the 20th century, when Singapore became a popular stop for travelers and entrepreneurs on the way between Europe and the Far East. The bar at the Raffles Hotel, opened in 1887, was a place of attraction for the local elite and foreign guests. According to legend, the cocktail was conceived as a "girlish" drink: light, bright, with fruity notes and relatively low alcohol content, so as not to distract from communication and entertainment.
